I recently had the opportunity to discover home-based transcription work that pays me so-and-so number of dollars for evey audio hour. Since it's back-to-school time, I figured earning extra money ain't so bad, right? It's only part time anyways.
Okay. I was given 7 hours of transcription work altogther to do. Happy.
Then I found that I lost all my free time in doing the files. It usually takes me an hour to do an 10 to 15-min audio file. Guess how long it will take me to do the 7 hours? You do the math.
I miss long talks over dinner with the family, bathing Kuya and Kowi, reading stories, cooking dinner.
Is so-and-so dollars worth all that?
these are my thoughts on various inconsequences like being a stay-at-home mom, a former military wife, the meaning of life and everything else in between.
